Fiver years of self-innovation (1992-1996)
In 1992, Dr. Chen Qingcai, chairman of the company established Nanjing Haiguang Applied Chemistry Research Institute, which is the first private research institute that carries out the research and development of new pharmaceuticals in Jiangsu Province. Ever since its establishment, more than 100 certificates for new pharmaceuticals have been obtained and over 60 kinds of pharmaceuticals have been put into production. At present, over 10 kinds of pharmaceuticals are researched, applied for registration every year. Around 10 certificates for new pharmaceuticals and production approval documents are attained every year. It is also a constantly developing core driving force and source of Aosaikang Pharmceuticals.

Nanjing Aosaikang Medicinal Science Co., Ltd. (the predecessor of Nanjing Aosaikang Medicinal Group Co., Ltd.) was established in 1996. It is the first pharmaceutical company whose founder and legal representative is a doctor of pharmacy and which has independent intellectual property. It is mainly devoted to the transformation of scientific research achievements.

Five years of constant hard work(1997-2001)
In 2000, Nanjing Aosaikang Medicinal Science Co., Ltd established Yangzhou Aosaikang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. with majority share holding in terms of investment and independent intellectual property. It is also the first enterprise with non-stated share in the state-owned pharmaceutical factory with private capital in Jiangsu Province. In the same year, Yangzhou Aosaikang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. passed GMP certification of State Food and Drug Administration. Up until 2003, it had become the largest production base for PPI injection in our country, as one of the companies with the greatest variety of PPI.

Five years of self-development (2002-2006)
In 2003, Nanjing Aosaikang Medicinal Science Co., Ltd established the Sino-foreign funded Jiangsu Aosaikang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and controlled its shares. Three production workshops for bulk pharmaceuticals and three for preparations were built. Having respectively passed GMP examination of Jiangsu Food and Drug Administration and State Food and Drug Administration in 2005 and 2006, the aforesaid workshops have been put into production in an all-round manner.

Jiangsu Aosaikang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is now one of the companies with the greatest variety of anti-tumor pharmaceuticals and proton pump inhibitors in China. In the meantime, it is also one of the largest production bases for proton pump inhibitors and injection. In 2006, it was incorporated into Top 100 private enterprises in Nanjing. In the following year, it was awarded the titles ¡°Hi-tech Enterprise in Jiangsu Province¡±, ¡°Hi-tech Enterprise in Nanjing¡±, ¡°National Private Scientific and Technological Enterprise¡±, ¡°Private Scientific and Technological Enterprise in Jiangsu Province¡± and ¡°Outstanding Private Enterprise in Nanjing¡±. In the same year, it passed the examination of the program Top 100 Growing Scientific and Technological Enterprises in Nanjing.
